"Luis breaks his arm" is a Sesame Street story arc that took place over several episodes in Season 16 (1985).
After Luis has an accident in the Fix-It Shop, he breaks his arm and his friends rush him to the hospital. Over the course of several episodes, the story follows how Luis manages his life while wearing a cast, and his road to recovery.
Eight years later, having previously gone through the experience, Luis serves as caretaker when Telly breaks his arm.
