Lydia the Ostrich appeared in episode 103 of The Animal Show, in which she told Stinky and Jake how ostriches live and how they are excellent animal mothers.
The ostrich made a background appearance in Muppets from Space. The puppet was recycled as Henrietta Vanderpreen in the Bear in the Big Blue House episode "Woodland House Wonderful" and as Little Miss Kissy Kiss in the Mopatop's Shop episode "Little Miss Kissy Kiss."
