Macton Tal is a Peacekeeper officer and the brother of D'Argo's wife Lo'Laan. While he's first mentioned in the season one Farscape episode "They've Got a Secret," Macton doesn't appear until season four's "Mental As Anything."
Like many PKs, Macton believes in a pure Sebacean bloodline, and he's horrified when he discovers D'Argo, a Luxan, has married his sister Lo'Laan. He's even more disgusted when they conceive a child. After multiple failed attempts to break the two apart, Macton murders Lo'Laan and frames it on D'Argo. D'Argo subsequently spends many years in prison before escaping in "Premiere."
D'Argo finally faces off with Macton in "Mental As Anything," in which both are attending a mental arts training camp. D'Argo learns the full truth of how Lo'Laan died, and he traps Macton in a virtual reality simulator, where he's forced to relieve how he killed his sister indefinitely.
Macton appears via flashback in the Farscape comic series D'Argo's Trial and D'Argo's Quest.
