Madame Mumu is a ghost exterminator who appears in The Ghost of Faffner Hall episode "The Power of Music."
She visits Faffner Hall to offer her services, having heard of its reputation of being haunted. Farkas Faffner hires her on the spot, provided she rids the hall of Fughetta Faffner permanently while also vowing that she hates music.
While patrolling the hall, she sees Los Lobos rehearsing in a nearby room. She tests her strength to avoid music by listening, as the band goes through various emotions as they play. The music entrances her, as she reveals she (like the band's lead singer) lost a love to a "psychic floozy."
After mistaking the Wild Impresario for the ghost, she finally attempts to exterminate Fughetta with a special chant. Fughetta laughs this off, until it seems to actually begin to work. She pauses time and consults with the Faffner Hall Composer Busts, who inspire her to turn Mumu's chants into music. Mumu finds she likes Fughetta now, as well as music, while also declaring their song has cured Farkas of his cold.
The puppet was originally used as a member of Geri and the Atrics on The Muppet Show.
