Grover's jobs are many and varied, but they do include periodic stints carrying mail or delivering packages. Sometimes this was as an actual USPS postal worker (or near equivalent), bringing mail to the residents of Sesame Street. Other times, Grover worked for outside services.
In the early 2000s, Grover made deliveries to and from the Mail It Shop.
The furry blue mail monster continued to function in a postal capacity in the books All About Mail Carriers and A Trip to the Post Office.
