Malkamo

Malkamo is an Ethiopian character on Rechov Sumsum, the Israeli co-production of Sesame Street, portrayed by Shai Fredo.

Fredo apparently was eager to be cast as a positive Ethiopian character: "There aren't a lot of Ethiopians in the media, and most Ethiopian characters I've played have a lot of stereotypical problems. Here I'm just Malkamo ... a regular guy."
