Manny is a show business manager who advises his client Toothy in an Anything Muppet sketch. He makes liberal use of the stereotypical "you're beautiful sweetheart" show business line and has an unseen secretary named Gladys.
His ventures are apparently doing so well, that he turns down a potential client named Sondheim because he already represents enough songwriters.
When Toothy consults with his manager about a flailing career, Manny tells him that what his act needs is a partner; someone to make him look good. Manny subsequently interviews a washcloth, a hairbrush (whose act he caught in Vegas), and finally a toothbrush who hits it off with Toothy.
