Marcello Magni (1959-2022) was an Italian actor who played the baker in the Creature Shop-effects film The Adventures of Pinocchio.
Magni spent much of his career in England, including stage work (co-founding the Theatre de Complicit). TV includes appearances on Doctor Who, Doctors, and The Tudors. Other film credits include Nine (with Nicole Kidman) and Mr. Turner. Magni lent his voice to the incomprehensible voice of clay animated penguin Pingu (and friends and family) and was heard on BBC Radio.
