"Marco’s adoption" is a Sesame Street story arc that took place over several episodes in Season 37 (2006).
The second multi-episode arc involving a major character adopting a baby on the show following the introduction of Miles twenty-one years before, placed focus on Gina, a resident of Sesame Street who first appeared as a teenager, grew up to become a veterinarian, and eventually a mom. The story follows Gina, and the support she receives from her friends, when she adopts Marco, a baby from Guatemala.
