Maren Morris (b. 1990) is a country-pop artist, singer-songwriter, and record producer. Early in her music career, she was a Nashville songwriter for album tracks by Tim McGraw and Kelly Clarkson. Morris' self-titled EP, released in 2015, proved to be a success on Spotify and charted on two Billboard charts, leading to subsequent major-label albums. She also notably sung lead vocals on the pop hit "The Middle."
Morris guest-starred in Sesame Street season 50, performing "Oops! Whoops! Wait, Ah-ha!" with the Muppets. She also appeared in a "Sesame Street Memory" video, which was released online in November 2019.
