Maria Szmichowska is an animator and illustrator, working in England, who contributed art to the Sesame Street Finding Out Encyclopedia book series.
Szmichowska worked at British studio Halas & Batchelor on outsourced Hanna-Barbera series The Addams Family and Laff-a-Lympics and later the CTW-produced animated version of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. For theatrical features, she animated on Watership Down and The Plague Dogs.
