Mark Gatiss (b. 1966) is a British comedian, actor, and writer, and a member of the League of Gentlemen comedy troupe. With fellow troupe members Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, Gatiss was heard in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as the Vogons.
Gatiss' other credits range from writing episodes of the current Doctor Who series to a guest spot on Marple as a timid curate, and a voice-over in Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
