Mark Mangini is a sound effects editor who has worked on many Hollywood films. He was interviewed by Dr. Bunsen Honeydew in Muppet Magazine issue 13. Some of his film credits mentioned in the article include Raiders of the Lost Ark, Gremlins, Poltergeist, the Star Trek movies, Explorers, and Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend.
Mangini began his sound editing career at Hanna-Barbera, working on Scooby-Doo series, The Flintstones specials, Godzilla, Super Friends, and others. His later film credits (usually as supervising sound editor, sometimes as dialogue or ADR editor) include the Creature Shop-effects films The Flintstones, Cats & Dogs, and The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, Star Trek films, The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Lethal Weapon 4, Small Soldiers, Son of the Pink Panther, and Looney Tunes: Back in Action.
Nominated several times for Academy Awards, Mangini won (shared with others) for Mad Max: Fury Road and Dune: Part One.
