Mark Reisman co-wrote and produced the 1987 pilot Puppetman (featuring Muppet dragons). He shared both titles with writing partner Jeremy Stevens, with whom he scripted the 1985 John Candy comedy Summer Rental (directed by Carl Reiner).
Reisman and Stevens wrote for Saturday Night Live during the sixth season and contributed scripts to the Judd Hirsch sitcom Dear John. Working solo, Reisman became a writer and producer on Wings and Frasier and created several mostly short-lived sitcoms (the longest-running being The Exes with Donald Faison).
