After a tiring ride with Marshal Grover, Fred the Wonder Horse takes a break. In their downtime, Grover still feels obligated to do something important. Fred suggests practicing counting, but Grover balks at the notion that he, a marshal, doesn't know how to count and effortlessly counts to 10. Fred clarifies that he meant counting backwards, and bets the marshal a ride home that he can't do it.
Grover takes the bet and turns his back to the camera, counting to 10. Fred explains that counting backwards doesn't involve facing backwards and demonstrates counting down from 10 to 1. Grover is impressed, until he's reminded of their bet. Fred hops on Grover's back as they make the trek back home.
