Matthew Brooks joined the Jim Henson Company in 1993, working as a puppet builder for the movies Muppet Treasure Island, Elmo in Grouchland, Muppets in Space, and many television series including Jim Henson's Animal Show, Bear in the Big Blue House, The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss (nominated for an Emmy), and Muppets Tonight. He also worked as an additional puppeteer on "Muppets Tonight" and "Bear in the Big Blue House".
