Matt Stoddart, sometimes credited as Matthew Stoddart, is an illustrator and character designer who has contributed to Sesame Street Magazine and worked on various Sesame books, coloring books, and other print media. He has also worked on products for Big Bag and Bear in the Big Blue House.
In addition to his illustration career, Stoddart has designed or made characters for various puppet TV series, starting with The Great Space Coaster. He joined Jim Kroupa and John Orberg to form 3/Design Studio, which designed and built characters for Eureeka's Castle, Wimzie's House, Between the Lions, and Lomax, the Hound of Music.
As an illustrator, Stoddart has worked on books based on Allegra's Window, The Backyardigans, Aaah! Real Monsters, and Cyberchase.
