Megan Mullally (b. 1958) is a four-time SAG- and two-time Emmy Award-winning American actress, talk show host and singer, perhaps best known for her role as Karen Walker on Will & Grace.
Mullally appeared in Sesame Streetโs 39th season where she introduced the word of the day, distract.
Among her other credits are guest spots on Seinfeld, Frasier, 30 Rock, as well as voice-over work on Batman: The Animated Series and multiple Flintstones television specials, and hosting the 4th Annual TV Land Awards and Saturday Night Live.
Also a Broadway actress, Mullally has appeared in productions of Grease (with Rosie O'Donnell) and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (with Matthew Broderick, Jonathan Freeman, Lillias White, and the pre-recorded voice of Walter Cronkite). In Mel Brooks' follow up to The Producers, Young Frankenstein, Mullally played Elizabeth, the role originated by Madeline Kahn in the film, and co-starred in the musical with Roger Bart and Andrea Martin.
