Mel Brooks (b. 1926) made a cameo appearance in The Muppet Movie as Professor Krassman. He also made a cameo appearance in It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie as the voice of the narrator Joe Snowman.
He made a very brief appearance in the 1979 special The Muppets Go Hollywood.
