Merlin is a 3-hour television miniseries broadcast on NBC over two nights -- April 26th and 27th, 1998. The miniseries retells the famous legend of King Arthur from the perspective of the wizard Merlin. Sam Neill stars in the title role in a story that covers not only the rise and fall of Camelot but also the phase in the legendary history of Britain that precedes it. The movie was produced by Hallmark Entertainment, with Special Visual Effects by Jim Henson's Creature Shop.
