Just a tip and a reminder, if an article's not in a larger category, then it wouldn't belong in a subcat or themed variation. So entries not in a relevant References category wouldn't be in Halloween References, and pages not in Category:Muppet Characters (or equivalent) wouldn't be in Halloween Characters (Dracula is in all of them because he's been an actual Muppet, not just played by others, as well as the book and movies being referenced.)
Also, again with movies, reiterating what we said below, if you're not sure where it comes from (the identifications by characters in Muppet Babies are seldom accurate), don't add it. If you're not sure if the footage is from a specific movie, please ask first. Thanks!
In fact, considering the song pages won't (as far as I know) allow lyrics, I'm thinking of starting a wikia for them. At the moment however, I started a wikia for a fanfiction I haven't published yet and I'm still working on it, but even before then, I haven't even started that other one.
That being said, I'd add the full plots of episodes on pages without them, but as you might've noticed, I have a bit or trouble explaining stuff. Too bad though because I'd really like to do it for this episode.
Hi Anthony. Per Muppet Wiki:FAQ, we try to write from a neutral point of view and avoid weasel words, and saying something "looks like" or "feels like" applies here. Specifically, in reference to this edit, if you're not completely sure about what film clip is used in a Muppet Babies episode, maybe start a thread on the Forum so someone else can identify it, but don't add it to the page if you're not 100% positive. Thanks.
Except for public domain films and occasionally something really obscure (Flesh Gordon), the end credits of each episode identify the footage sources (and a lot of general background and scenery footage come from stock libraries and not from a specific movie). The harder task is sometimes finding the specific shot from the credited movie (and later seasons paired new episodes with reruns but still credited the footage). For that specific episode, only the clips used in the theme intro and the stock libraries are credited.
Hi Anthony! Related to episode names, (regarding this edit) per our Muppet Wiki:Style Guide, episode titles should go in quotes like a song title would. You can see here how I made the changes. Thanks!
Hi. Just a reminder, we only count celebrities who have worked directly with the Muppets, Sesame Street, or the like as Connections. Will Smith doesn't apply because he's never appeared with the Muppets. Stock footage of him was used for one special, so it's technically a reference and not a true appearance. Thanks!
Wikipedia isn't a source, but more of a source aggregator. It looks like they're citing Futon Critic, which is listing airdates. The episode numbers we use on our guides go by the order the were released, so the move may be appropriate for now. We'll have to see what Disney ultimately has for a distribution model. For example, the first episode has already been released on Amazon and iTunes, so there could be other surprises.
Hi, a reminder, we don't have a stubs category here (unlike Wikipedia), since that tends to encourage stubs for stubs sake. Feel free to leave a summary note like "starting page, needs expansion" or listing what it needs.
Hi, please read edit summaries and stop adding tags to Upcoming Sesame Street storybooks. Did you read the explanation I left before your last edit?
Some users were careful to remove titles when they came out... but not to add more (and Amazon shows there are plenty). Someone recently blanked it and we haven't cleaned it up yet, but please stop adding delete tags. The more constructive thing to do is add actual upcoming titles (you can find them on Amazon; I plan to do so later, as I said in my summary, just not right now) or if you like, start a forum discussion pointing out the emptiness and asking others to fill it in.
Basically deleting the page and recreating (which an admin has to do) is harder than just filling in the blanks while and as we can. It's on my list after personal priorities. Thanks!
Hi, please hold off on your edits about Miss Piggy's intelligence. Most have violated NPOV standards in wording, and in a few cases, where it shows "low IQ", it seems to be based on how the viewer interprets something, which again is POV. I interpreted the "Hunger Games" joke as Piggy being too lazy/bored to read a script and making an assumption based on her own food-based passions. So that's not the same thing (and I couldn't understand what point you were trying to make about Piggy Water).
We discuss lack of intelligence for some characters (i.e. Beauregard) where it's a defining characteristic and fairly consistent. Choosing specific jokes or episodes to gage a character's intelligence could be done for everyone, but I don't think having "Piggy's moments of stupidity" and "Fozzie's moments of stupidity" etc. lists really helps the pages. Thanks!
P. S. Did you have an issue with your previous login? We can probably get that fixed for you.
I apoligize for that, but we all know how dim-witted she is. I just think that there should be a page that show her... "moments" of idiotness, like that page about Bunsen and Beaker being gay, which I disbelieve. Not that I want to make that page, but it's just a suggestion.
I think you should discuss that on the forums, rather than keep trying to change the page, because again you'd have to do the same for *every* major character (Fozzie, Gonzo) who has them (if not, it seems like you just have a personal issue with that character).
I assumed you were User:Akg91794 (similar usernames, editing the same Wikis, general patterns match) and just at some point lost your login info (it's happened to users before).
Alright, just asking. You let me know if you decide to make that page.
And yes, I was that guy. But that was on my family email. I just gave one to my own because after a long, long, LOOOOOOOONG while, I got that "your email address has not yet been confirmed" message box thing, and I couldn't get to the confirmation message. Also, Ever After High Wiki kicked me out for messing with their Humphrey Dumpty page so many times, and by that I mean making bad comments.
As I said, you'd have to bring it up for discussion, but it's not like Miss Piggy's karate chops. It's not something unique solely to that character, so we'd have to create a "Moments when Fozzie is stupid," "Moments when Kermit is stupid," etc., and that's neither encyclopedic nor really worthwhile.
If you want to list moments or your opinions on your user page, as you know, that's your space, so feel free.
