  • Hi, I undid your edit to 1, Rue Sésame only because your edit summary seemed to contradict what you actually edited.

If you're saying Magribleu was *only* used in French Canadian material (and have the evidence to prove it), then it makes sense to take it out (Danny added it way back, but his source was books, if memory serves; that chart does include book variations, as long as they're French books from that period). But your edit summary made it sound like the opposite (since you stated "Rue Sésame," unless you mean only the French Canadian version).

    • The Books were exclusive to Canada. Magribleu was Grover's title in Québec. Not France. Case in point, I took out the reference because the title was mismatched.

Grover has three titles in Canada: Gustave (used in Sésame Ouvre-Toi), Magribleu (in later print), and Grover (Joue avec Sésame). Note that these are all not 1, rue Sésame... just Rue Sésame.

Grover's name in France, however, is unmodified in both co-productions.

    • Thanks for the explanation. There's not enough room in the edit summaries sometimes. I turned it back to your edit.

Also, you might want to clarify country over franchise name. Since in France, there's "1, Rue Sésame," "5, Rue Sésame," and it seems to show up on albums and elsewhere as just the street, so the country means more than saying "just Rue Sésame." Thanks!

  • Hi, nice find. However, I'm not sure about the accuracy of the voices you listed. I can't find anything about it in the Hebrew TV/film/dubbing database which we use most for this information.

Do you have a source or were you just assuming they were the same actors listed on the international character pages? (Given the frequency of recasts on those projects, we try to avoid that.)

    • I'm sorry, but I just assumed that because I thought that because it was dubbed during the middle of the broadcast for Rechov Sumsum - Shara'a Sumsum (it's "Sumsum" according to Hop!'s Arabic channel, based from the Arabic dub.), and I just thought they doubled production by recording the American footage, as well as the film. You can remove it if necessary.

Also, would you happen to know where I can view footage for Rechov Sumsum - Shara'a Sumsum?

    • Yeah, that specific dub had someone else as Bert, and the database doesn't identify who played Ernie (and really, it would all depend on the dubbing studio and director assigned, which in many countries, is not the same as whoever worked on the concurrent coproduction).

Sorry, I wouldn't know where any footage of the Israeli-Palestinian coproduction can be found, although I always found it interesting.

    • Hello BackyardiganKaibigan. My name is Any Del and I want to ask yoy something. You don't happen to have any International Elmo's World episodes do you? I asked this because since I'm a HUGE Elmo's World fan I watch international relesases of them? So do you happen to have any?
