  • I'm sorry, but this is it. We've left many messages. You're ignoring summaries and undoing edits by administrators, taking out useful images and information. I'm sure you mean well, but you just don't seem to be understanding what we're telling you or able to tell the difference. We gave you plenty of warnings, we have to block again.

  • Your edit to Sesame Street Number Segments isn't quite accurate, but I also have no idea what you mean by "copyright catalog info used Ken brown stamps." What copyright catalog? Ken Brown has made stamps but also short films, and he made these (so that's what the entry would refer to), but a link would help so we have the exact wording.

You never did respond to my previous message about sourcing, right below this one. You've been leaving troublesome messages on Shane's wall and either are ignoring or not understanding what he says when he asks you to drop a subject and not to keep asking him to respond (within hours or minutes). Please reply so we can try to discuss and address these issues. It's mandatory in this case.

    • Then, what does "rerun" mean instead of "reran" is that a phrase?

        Loading editor
    • They both mean the same thing.

  • Hi, some concerns about some of your edits. First, I undid your changes to Episode 4045. If you have the episode, just saying "segment type" really isn't helpful. If you can confirm what the word was or add details, it's helpful. If not, if you're using something else as a source, don't add it.

Related, you mention "the original look of the page" below for Episode 4011. That's not a source either. First, it wasn't the original version (the page began in 2006), but in 2010, a now blocked user added it here. An admin removed it for lack of a source. Please only add things from episodes you can verify (or show us the link on YouTube), not from old edits by other users.

Please respond here so we know you understand.

  • What is your source for this edit? [[1]]

  • Hi, you've been adding "Cut from Sprout" headings to some pages.

First, it helps if you can say what the segment was replaced with (in alterations).

But moreover, what's your source? Do you have copies of the episodes? Are you going by statements on the Wiki that the Spanish segments were usually cut? Please explain in an edit summary or in a response here next time. Thanks.

    • I've been sourcing my edits with "Sprout on Demand" is that all right?

        Loading editor
    • Yes, but please tell us what segment it was replaced with so one of us can add it to Alterations.

  • Hi. Remember, if you make an edit that gets reverted, it is not ok to just keep adding it back.

In terms of Episode 4508 there are several issues.

First is that the images need to be displayed at 250px, not 220px.

Second, we generally only use one screencap for that segment.

And finally, why you are trying to replace File:MurrayBollywood05.png with an image that is smaller. Why do you think the smaller image is better?

    • How do I use screencaps?

        Loading editor
    • Sorry. A screencap just means the image from the show in this case. You make it by freezing the screen while watching the show and "capturing" it as an image.

  • Hi, several of the pics you're reuploading aren't at the correct aspect ratio (meaning they appear scrunched and the characters shorter than the original). This may be due to the source you're using or (if taking screengrabs from DVDs) sometimes your player or device isn't set to preserve aspect ratio.

If you think an image is too dark, feel free to adjust the existing version slightly. But any incorrect aspect ratio pictures will be reverted.

    • Also, please read edit summaries. There is no "Online Streaming" page on the Wiki (it's a redlink whenever you try to add it, and it's not a page we would create), as I mentioned when undoing an edit yesterday, but you're doing it again in bulk. If you're trying to indicate that an episode is available via HBO On Demand and streaming services, that belongs in the syndication section, in this way: HBO Kids.

Please be careful, since right now you're repeating much of the behavior that led to your previous blocks. And respond here so we know you understand.

    • To clarify, if you're denoting releases outside of HBO (iTunes, YouTube Monthly Pass, etc.), you'll want to add {{SSO}} to Releases, which links to Sesame Street Web Content by default. I also created a sandbox page for online releases which you can add to if you're aware of any specific releases that aren't yet noted.
