Hi Malu. "Proto-Kermit" is kind of factually misleading, as the character had always been named Kermit, and the page isn't necessary when there's already When did Kermit become a frog?, which provides in-depth coverage on the subject. If a page you created has been deleted, remember to look at the deletion log where an administrator may explain why it was deleted. If it isn't clear or if nothing is written, it's better to discuss with the admin rather than recreating. Thanks!
Hi Malu. Scott mentioned Muppet Wiki:Sandbox in an earlier thread, so adding to that, you should try creating a sandbox page for 2020 so you can track what's coming out next year and tweak it at your own pace. When there's enough to note, we can take it out of Sandbox. A page with empty sections with "TBA" or "to be added" isn't helpful and doesn't make a good case for a proper 2020 page right now. Thanks.
Hi, Maria. Just a reminder I had to leave for another user, please don't copy text directly from other wikis (as happened with Nurloc). That's plagiarism.
If it was only copied text, an administrator would delete the page. Since you also added your own text to the article, I'd recommend rewriting the first paragraph (I haven't seen the episodes yet, so I can't do it myself). Rephrasing is fine, straight cut and pasting is not. You've been doing good work covering Age of Resistance, you just need to make sure you're aware of and follow our policies. Thanks for understanding!
Hooray! Also, I stumbled on the best source for the dubbing credits: VoxMundi's official YouTube channel, and the text gives a fairly complate cast list (confirming Nair Silva as Aughra and others). The dubbing studio is a reliable source, so just cite it or include it in links at the bottom and mention the source in your summary if need be for anything not in the Netflix credits.
Statler: [Breaking the fourth wall] Why do YOU watch it?
Kermit the Frog: Listen everybody, we've got nothing to be ashamed of. And you know why? Well because, thanks to Walter here we tried. And if we failed, we failed together and to me that's not failing at all. And I don't care what anybody says, I don't care if no one believes in us because... I believe. I believe in you. And you. And you. You know what's important isn't this building or name, it's each other. So I say fine, let's just start from the bottom and work our way back up to the top. Let's all walk out through these doors with our heads held up high, as a family because that's what we are.
Gonzo: There's not a world yet, for old friends who've just met.
Walter: Even on the worst days, I knew... that as the years passed...
Kermit: [archived footage] Cancel that last remark...
Walter: As long as there are singing frogs and joking bears... Swedish chefs and boomerang fish, the world can be such a bad place after all.
Fozzie Bear: I don't know how to thank you guys.
Kermit the Frog: I don't know WHY to thank you guys.
Clifford: I'm Clifford, your homey made of foamey!
Hi Maria, regarding this edit, it looks like you accidentally replaced Caroline Foxworth before you created a new header for The Dark Crystal.
Just so you know, the wiki has a feature where you can preview what the page will look like before you save it, and also a feature that will show you the changes you've made before you hit the publish button. They're both over on the right-hand side of the edit window.
Also, they should be grouped together in the code, not just thrown in randomly as seen here. In that same edit, you can see that a YouTube link was misplaced. I'm not sure how that happened, but please be careful not to upset the layout of text when you edit a page.
Finally, while it can be tricky to figure this out, use some discretion with where new information goes. While the anecdote about Walter is notable on his own page, a bulleted collection of interactions isn't really interesting on her own page (as seen here) and could start to be seen as a bit of a mess after a while.
As always, please use the preview and show changes tools I described above. When used properly, they'll keep the rest of the community from having to clean up after the fact. And we want to maintain a neat and organized wiki. Thanks!
Hi, I don't know what you're using for O Cristal Encantado: A Era da Resistência but a lot of it doesn't match up with the actual episode by episode credits (each one only credits a handful of characters, usually Rian, with everyone else lumped under additional voices, but most of the Skeksis are identified in one credit block or another). Credits are always the best source, and if something else is used, it should be cited.
Nothing wrong with that (we try to avoid it for character images and such, but for credits or sourcing info that's fine). Or if you can't screenshot, then read the credits and write down the names (I did that in notebooks for years). Or else leave any names out you can't confirm with the source. Otherwise a lot of it seemed to be guesswork or names that aren't actually mentioned.
Hi again. I noticed that in two of your most recent edits, the __NOWYSIWYG__ code at the bottom of the page was removed. NOWYSIWYG is a Wiki magic word that disables the classic editor and keeps pages from breaking, so that needs stay. Thanks!
