  • Hi, Shane:

I see you recently completed Season 10 (in terms of making complete episode guides) and are now working on Seasons 11 and 14 now (or so I think). However, could you please look at Episode 1405? The sponsors are the letters 'C' and 'E,' and the number '3' (and that's what they should be, according to the notes I see which Gavry3 got at the U of Md). However, the actual contents of the show seem to indicate that the sponsors would be the letters 'I' and 'M,' and the number '11' (which are the sponsors for Episode 1429, also occurring during Season 11). Could you please check this if possible? Thanks. I just don't want to start a possible 'edit war' with an administrator. Thanks again.

    • Hi, Shane:

Quick follow-up, if you don't mind:

I see that you (or someone) changed the sponsors for Episode 1405 (Season 11) to 'I,' 'M,' and '11.' However, when you see the CTW notes which Gavry3 got from U of Md (and I think the link to them is on your message wall), you'll notice that the actual segments for that episode are ones which demonstrate the letters 'C' and 'E' and the number '3.' Thus, unless there's a misprint in the CTW notes for that episode, the actual segments in the show should reflect the fact that 'C,' 'E,' and '3' (not 'I,' 'M,' and '11') are indeed the 'featured' letters and number. Again, I'm using the CTW notes as the 'Bible,' but maybe there's something particular to that episode about which I don't know yet. Please check it out when you have a chance. Thanks, and, again, hope you don't mind.

  • Heya! Thanks for filling in Episode 1541.

I found a credit for Paratore on Letters_(computer_game)#Cartoons but I don't know which cartoons were his.

    • I think I've seen enough to know what bit is what (I can easily ID all those bits). If there is something that doesn't come to me, I'll follow up on it.

    • Okay, I'll leave em out for now.

  • ...I took this off the SS News page. I don't see it in the script. Do you remember where it came from?

  • Do you have an idea on who plays the turkey in the 3:16 mark of this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJe9SZ1D5Sk

  • I remember watching Episode 3635 when I was a kid, and it appears the trusted source you used made a little mistake near the end: the guide has the "Don't Cross the Street Alone" cartoon listed appearing before the celebrity version of "A New Way to Walk," but I clearly remember the cartoon actually being the "Look Both Ways Before You Cross" cartoon by Ray Favata that first appeared in Episode 1397, with new sound effects added. Perhaps the material you used gave a rather vague description on the segment?

  • What was the name of that one song that showed Ernie as a baby? It was sung by some women and I can’t remember what it was called.

  • So, Sesame Street's YouTube channel has the ability to change the audio of a video without reuploading? I feel like that's happened more than once.

  • Heya, the screenshots from Episodio 845 go back almost 10 years, but do you still happen to have a copy of it? I didn't see it anywhere online, and I'd like to see if I can get a clearer shot of the MultiMuppet Astronaut.

Heya, do we know what episode (YouTube) is? And, if not, is Sandbox:Unidentified Sesame Street Segments the right place to track it?

    • The picture of Oscar driving a truck is a scene from Episode 1093 (the Hawaii trip).

    • Oh, nicely spotted. I figured it was probably something from one of the "trip" arcs. Thanks!

  • Oof, sorry you had to double-up on your work here. I was wondering when that was going to happen first and I've been trying to think of ways to avoid it. Maybe checking WhatLinksHere, but some episodes have lots of pages linking to them. I'm all ears if you've got thoughts.

    • Of course, we have Sesame Street episodes with recycled plots. Is there any way to know we're close to a comprehensive list?

yeah, that's on me. I haven't kept good track on the earlier ones that have been table'd from the trusted source stuff.

Re: a complete list, I think the repeats we're missing are from the seasons we haven't fully covered yet (Seasons 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19). Episode 2244, I think, is the only one we have fully guided without knowing the original episode.
