  • Hi, I've deleted your Fraggle transcript page as there's been no discussion for including those on the wiki at this time. If you're interested in working on transcripts, there's lots of work to do cleaning up episodes of The Muppet Show — Category:Muppet_Show_Transcripts

  • So I was looking over the guide for Sesame street Episode 1952, and I kept seeing little notes within the guide saying things like "this cartoon was cut from the HBO airing" etc etc. I'm aware Hbo has the rights to "Sesame" now, but it seems odd that Hbo would broadcast content that at present is 32 years old, seems rather outdated to me. I tried to add a cite tag but I'm using a mobile device so I could not. Can somebody give their assistance, please?

Any responses here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • Hey, just want to bring a couple of things up:

    1. If you see something in an article that you personally find dubious or possibly false, don't remove it. Instead, leave a "citation need" tag as such: {{cite}}, which will bring it to attention and we can discuss it or find a source.

    2. When creating articles, they have have some direct relevance to Jim Henson and his work. "Sooty" does not, despite being under the same company umbrella at certain points in history. See our nobility guidelines for more.

    Thanks!

    • Just came here to post the same. Also wanted to add that sometimes things get added to an article without a source cited because it's elsewhere on the wiki. In the case of Emily Perl Kingsley, using the Special:WhatLinksHere tool, or searching the wiki (either with the built-in search feature, or Google) would find results for "Kaplin" credited elsewhere.

  • OK, so I'm aware Im not an admin or anything and some users (staff; admins etc) might already know but They are replacing forums it with the new discussions feature (source: Wikia community central)

there's been a pretty negative response from what I've Seen. Forums will be gone they say. If you have any questions ask Merrystar or another admin or maybe me or what have you. I could not get a picture or a link but you can search community central for it. I'm aware that with such a major change we'll all have questions. Sorry.

  • While it's fine that you reverted those edits, admins, it's kind of ironic 'cause I should now how rhis works since I'm an admin on another wiki actually. If you'd like to heck it out I'll get a link. Merrystar's made a few edits there. Got some good humor to it.

    • For clarification to above post: Merrystar I assume is not familiar with the TV show the wiki concerns, but yeah go and check it out anyway.

  • Hi. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but please refrain from creating pages for upcoming projects unless there's enough information available for it. If it's also being discussed on the Forum, we only create after a consensus is reached. As an alternative, you can start a Sandbox page to collect whatever info comes up, but please wait on creating actual pages unless there are attributable sources. Stating "not much is known about this project" is redundant and generally not helpful for the reader.

  • Now I'm not certain of this, and based on how long the characters were on the show for, it probably isn't relevant. But it says the monster character Deena was a young monster, possibly school-age or something. and that Pearl was a caretaker to Deena, most likely an adult or teenage monster. But a press release introducing those characters, which for the record can be found on the Elmo talk page archive, it says that Pearl is Deena's roommate. Is this an Ernie-and-Bert type thing, where they are "equals" and Bert really doesn't take care of Ernie and vice-versa, or do we want to describe Pearl as Deena's caretaker rather than her roommate? Thoughts?

  • I see on the "Luis gets glassess" episode from 1986, in scene 4, tony danza jumps rope with kids. Is this a celbrity insert or a scene as it says? One appearnce by Danza in the episode, plus no relavance to the plot, made me wonder... please help me out, thanks
