Clifford Smith (b. 1971) better known by his stage name, Method Man is an American actor and rapper, who got his start as a member of the New York rap group, Wu-Tang Clan. In 1996, he won a Grammy for the song "I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By" featuring Mary J. Blige, from his solo album Tical.
In January 2019, as the host of the show Drop the Mic, he officiated a rap battle between two teams consisting of Kermit the Frog, Pepe the King Prawn and Miss Piggy and Beaker. With the help of the audience he declared Miss Piggy and Beaker the winners.
