Michael Lapinski serves as a director and art director for Magnetic Dreams Animation Studio.

Lapinski has filled those roles in the studio's collaborations with Sesame Street on a number of projects. He's designed backgrounds, props, and sequences for recurring segments such as "Elmo the Musical" and "Smart Cookies." He also designed the Bird-Lady character for The Magical Wand Chase, and the recreated animated characters for the end credits of Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration. Additionally, he directed the animated song "Elmo's Christmas Dream" and the intro sequence for the show's Game of Thrones parody.

Prior to joining Magnetic Dreams, Lapinski worked on a number of shows including Doug, Blue's Clues, and the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.
