Michele Kalamera (b. 1939) is an Italian voice actor who dubbed Sam the Eagle in the 2008 DVD redubs of four Il Muppet Show episodes. He continued in the role in I Muppet (The Muppets) and Muppets 2 - Ricercati (Muppets Most Wanted). He previously dubbed The Wizard in Il Muppet e il Mago di Oz (The Muppets' Wizard of Oz).
Kalamera has been the official Italian voice of Clint Eastwood since The Outlaw Josey Wales. He has frequently dubbed Steve Martin (including The Father of the Bride and Bowfinger) and Michael Caine (including the Harry Palmer movies and The Prestige). He also dubbed Martin Landau on Mission: Impossible and in Ed Wood, Robert Redford in The Candidate, Tim Curry in The Three Musketeers, Leslie Nielsen in Mr. Magoo, Fred Willard in A Mighty Wind, Pete Postlethwaite in The Usual Suspects, Charles Dance in Woman in Gold, and Walt Disney in several documentaries. Other TV dubbing includes George Peppard on The A-Team, Charles Kimbrough on Murphy Brown, Richard Mulligan on Empty Nest, and Roger Moore on Alias.
Animation roles include the narrator in the Winnie the Pooh series, Mr. Spaceley on The Jetsons, Julius Caesar in two Asterix movies, Razoul in Aladdin and sequels, Baloo on Talespin, Mayor Adam West on Family Guy, Gyro Gearloose on DuckTales, Emperor Zurg in Toy Story 2, Prince Lir in The Last Unicorn, and Professor Emil Hamilton on Superman.
