Mike Myers (b. 1963) is a Canadian comic actor who first rose to fame from his stint on Saturday Night Live from 1989 until 1995, notably playing Wayne Campbell in the recurring "Wayne's World" skit (a role he reprised in the 1992 film version and 1993 sequel).
Myers guest starred on Sesame Street Episode 3368, which spoofed "Wayne's World" as "Telly's Town." He appeared in character as Wayne, now recast as a telegram messenger.
Sesame Street puppeteer Julianne Buescher commented on Myers' guest star stint in a 2007 interview:
Myers' film credits include the title roles in the Austin Powers and Shrek film franchises, as well as So I Married an Axe Murderer, The Cat in the Hat, and View from the Top.
