Miracles from Heaven is a 2016 movie, based on the book of the same name by Christy Beam. Based on real events, the story tells of her 10-year-old daughter, Anna, being cured of a rare and incurable disease, after a near death experience.
When Anna Beam is examined by Dr. Nurko, she asks him why he's got an Elmo tie on. He tells her that he lost a bet to Elmo; if he had won, then Elmo would be wearing a Dr. Nurko tie. Later, he briefly puppeteers the tie to talk.
