Miss Piggy's Secrets of Having a Fantastic Birthday is a birthday greeting card/booklet produced by Hallmark in 1981. As with many of Hallmark's Miss Piggy products of the 1980s, the publication paired original photos of the character with campy witticisms. The text portrayed Miss Piggy as extravagant and self-centered, but also optimistic and encouraging, inviting the reader to join her in their own comically exaggerated self-appreciation. The booklet is similar to the Kermit-focused You Deserve a Sensational Birthday.
Today belongs to vous... that glorious day when a star was born. So you simply must celebrate it in a way that is nothing short of heavenly.
It's a day to let your hair down, burn your birthday candles at both ends, paint the town red... or better yet, hot pink!
Or you may want to have a quiet, tasteful little celebration and pamper yourself in the cozy confines of your own delightful domicile... in other words, just stay home and hang out.
You know that special gift you want for your birthday? Well, the secret of getting it is to make a wish, blow out your candles and then... go out and buy it yourself!
On your birthday you can reflect nostalgically on your past. You can think of the days when you were so shy, so innocent, so naive... and be glad they are over!
You can look forward ecstatically to your future, knowing that nothing is impossible... outrageous, perhaps, but not impossible.
It's nice to know that you are not getting older... just more perfect like moi!
And remember this above all... birthdays are only as incredibly marvelous, as magically memorable, as devastatingly divine as the people who have them...
So your day should be a real knockout for vous! Have a fabulous birthday!
