Monster Time is a recurring transition used to introduce segments featuring the Sesame Street monsters during Season 33.
The first street scene from each episode in the season ends with a group of AM Monsters jumping into frame (taped in-camera or superimposed via chroma key), inserting themselves among whatever activity has been taking place, and shouting, "monster time!" over and over. The scene would then transition into a sketch featuring monsters, oftentimes a Monster Clubhouse segment (slightly more than half of the time). The monsters were performed by anyone who happened to be on set during the day of taping.
An on-screen graphic of a teal monster's arm (a digitally altered version of Grover's) wearing seven watches then served as the final transition into the segment.
