Mother Goose appears in Sesame Street Episode 4198. She is Mary Mary Quite Contrary's aide, constantly bringing her flowers, dirt, and other things she needs for her garden. By the end of the episode, Mother Goose is exhausted by the work she has done and ends up getting chased by one of Hairy Hairy More Contrary's pigs.
The puppet (sans bonnet) has also been used as a generic goose in Episode 4207 (performed again by Jacobson) and in the Glee parody, "G." (First: Episode 4260) A similar-looking goose with yellow feathers has appeared in Episode 4605 and the specials When You Wish Upon a Pickle and Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration.
