Movie Mania

A series of interstitials made in 1999 ran on the Odyssey Channel and were later released on Best of the Muppet Show as "Movie Mania."

	The Frogfather A spoof of the movie with Kermit the Frog as "The Frogfather." In the scene, Fozzie Bear comes to the Frogfather asking for revenge on Statler and Waldorf.
	The Kerminator Kermit the Frog stars in a spoof as "The Kerminator," sent from the future on a mission to save mankind. Nothing can stop him until Miss Piggy inquires as to his recent whereabouts.

	Dances with Wolves A woman dances with a wolf (Dave Goelz) when another wolf (Steve Whitmire) tries to cut in.
	The Silence of the Lambs Two sheep quietly graze until a ram bites one of the sheep's tails causing him to baah and break the silence.
	Cat on a Hot Tin Roof A cat (Steve Whitmire) jumps up and down as he burns his feet on a hot tin roof. The title is revealed to be Home Alone.
	The Horse Whisperer A man whispers to his horse (Dave Goelz) who tells him to "speak up. I can't hardly hear you." The man exclaims "I said: you're standing ON MY FOOT!"
	What's New, Pussycat? A cat (Brian Henson) shares what's new with him.
	The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Kermit the Frog, Pepe the King Prawn and Rizzo the Rat bicker over who in the trio is the good, the bad, and the ugly.
	Planet of the Apes Sal Minella showcases his planet. The film is revealed to be The English Patient.
	A Fish Called Wanda A fish called Harold (Steve Whitmire) introduces himself to a fish called Wanda (also Whitmire).

These shorts, along with the concurrently produced Muppetisms and The Muppets on Muppets, mark Frank Oz's final on-camera performances as Fozzie Bear and Animal.
Steve Whitmire made a rare performance as The Swedish Chef while the recasting of the role was still in transition.
