Mr. Fussbudget is an elderly Sesame Street character who, as his name suggests, is rather fussy about the way things are done. He made his sole appearance in Episode 0479.
As he finishes an ice cream soda at Hooper's Store, he complains that David's work has neither the right amount of ice cream or soda. David accidentally gives him one quarter change instead of two, causing Mr. Fussbudget to believe he tried to shortchange him on purpose.
He begins protesting the store as unfair to its customers. Luis comes by and asks for his hammer back, which Mr. Fussbudget used to make his picket sign. He realizes that by accidentally forgetting to return it, he's made a similar mistake to David's. He forgives David for getting upset, but refuses to have one of his celebratory ice cream sodas.
