Mr. Knox was a recurring character on The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss, the best pal of Fox in Socks. His attire is the same as his book counterpart, but on the show, he also wears a tall red hat.
In the first season, Fox and Knox appear as a comedy double act, and Knox is the far more neurotic of the pair. In addition to comedians, the pair also appeared as doctors, newspaper reporters, and diplomatic couriers.
For the second season, Fox and Knox make the occasional visit to the Cat's Playhouse from inside their communal box.
