Mr. Men is a series of children's books by Roger Hargreaves, first published in 1971. Each book in the series features a personality trait for its title character, used as a means of expressing a moral lesson. After ten years of Mr. Men books, the series was expanded to include Little Miss characters in 1981. The books have spawned several animated TV adaptations.
