Mr. Pelican is a feathered friend of Big Bird's who appears in Episode 0574 of Sesame Street.
Big Bird is looking for something to eat when he can't get his usual birdseed from Hooper's Store. After consorting with Mrs. Bird and Waldo Woodpecker, he encounters Mr. Pelican, who displays his skill of tossing a fish in the air and catching it in his beak. He encourages Big Bird to forage for fish to eat like he does.
