Mr. Screech is an owl who visits The Furchester Hotel in the episode "The Furchester Hoot-el."
Everyone's excited to greet him, however he can only come at night seeing as he's nocturnal, so the Furchesters, Elmo, and Cookie Monster all try their best to devise ways to stay awake and great him. When he arrives, Elmo is the only one who succeeds in staying awake, but he falls asleep shortly after.
His puppet is recycled from Athena from Panwapa, and originally used on Sesame Street.
