Mr. Smellsalot is a skunk guest who visits The Furchester Hotel in the episode "Skunks Welcome."
As a skunk, whenever he is surprised (such as during his welcome by the Furchesters), he sprays, stinking up the hotel. Eventually, his smell causes several guests (including Harvey P. Dull and a female Kermit the Forg) to lodge complaints and even threaten to leave.
To make him stop spraying, Phoebe comes up with the idea to show him around, so he's not surprised by anything going on at the hotel.
