Mr. Vincent is a kind shark who appears in The Furchester Hotel episode "The Fish in the Cape."
He checks into the Furchester (placed into the Coral Room) and is seen wearing a large, red cape, which accidentally knocks into everything as he traverses the hotel. When the Tea Time Monsters barge past, his cape gets removed, revealing his identity as a shark. Elmo and Phoebe learn he was using the cape to hide his shark fin and prevent people from being afraid of him. The Furchester family tries to find alternate solutions to conceal his fin, such as a knitted cover (which the fin pierces) or cardboard scales (which make him appear as a frightening dinosaur). Elmo and Phoebe eventually convince him (through song) to embrace who he is and show people he's not a scary shark at all. Sure enough, he's able to prove his kindness by helping people in the hotel. He then gets to pass on the lesson to an incoming lion guest, who is similarly hiding the fact that he's a ferocious animal.
The puppet originally appeared in Episode 4632 as the "Cowabunga Cookie Shark" (an aquatic, enchanted version of Cookie Monster).
