Mr. and Mrs. Slop are the proprietors of the mom-and-pop Slop and Shop, a grocery store for Grouches, in Episode 2937 of Sesame Street.
Gordon and Miles accompany Oscar the Grouch to the Slop and Shop and witness a Grouch shopping experience firsthand. Mr. Slop does much around the store, manning the flying fish heads counter and stacking displays of cereal, while Mrs. Slop merely operates the front register. Although they are Grouches, the spouses cooperate to run the store, which Oscar explains, "Sometimes it's important for grouches to cooperate...for a higher cause."
