Mrs. Bird is a feathered friend of Big Bird's who appears in Episode 0574 of Sesame Street.
Big Bird is on a quest to find another source of food when he can't get his usual birdseed from Hooper's Store. Mrs. Bird has heard of his problem ("A little birdie told me.") and tells him what she likes to eat best of all - worms. She claims her diet is why some people call her an early bird.
She appears again with a slightly different voice in Episode 0588, where she mistakes a wind-blown Oscar the Grouch for a fellow bird.
She made another brief appearance in Episode 0659, dropping by the stoop of 123 Sesame Street to give Luis a rhyme for his newspaper puzzle.
