Mrs. Kodiak is Fozzie's elderly neighbor in the Muppet Kids book series.
In Mom Gets a Job, she babysits the first day Fozzie's Mom is at work. While she kindly baked cookies just for Fozzie, she's unable to provide the maternal hug and kiss that Fozzie's used to. Instead of asking Fozzie how his day was, Mrs. Kodiak sits in a chair knitting and humming. She watches Fozzie again in Mom's Having a Baby when Fozzie's Mom goes into labor.
Mrs. Kodiak reappeared in Piggy Isn't Talking. Once again baking cookies, Piggy comes over to help but is distracted by her unspoken fears that Kermit isn't her friend anymore. Mrs. Kodiak explains the importance of communication.
