Muchamp Champignons
Muchamp Champignons is a Dutch company that produces mushrooms. According to their Facebook page, (translated) "Muchamp Mushrooms is a nursery where mushrooms are harvested manually. 27 tons of fresh mushrooms are produced weekly."[1]
In the late 1980s, the Muppets appeared in a commercial for the company. Kermit the Frog (puppeteered by Rick Lyon[2] and dubbed in Dutch by Wim T. Schippers) wears his Manhattan Melodies sweater and commentates over mushrooms being prepared and cooked. Also appearing are Beauregard, Louis Kazagger, Lips, Smilin' Ed, Bobby Benson, Zoot, Animal, Floyd Pepper, Crazy Harry, and various Whatnots.
