In a loose Gilligan's Island parody, three executives who have been stranded on an island for the last three months hold a board meeting to give their quarterly reports. Fenneman reports that coconut production is up and sand castle construction remains constant. Dennehy shares the grass hut production figures, including an impressive increase in lean-to and A-frame units.
However, Jones from the branch office (literally a branch in a tree) continually tries to interrupt and to direct their attention to an approaching ship. Their stubborn adherence to the meeting agenda and procedures prevents them from signaling in time.
