Muppet Togs was the brand name for two lines of Muppet clothes produced by Andover Togs from 1983 to 1985.
One of the shirts uses a pre-Muppet Babies illustration of Baby Kermit, as a tadpole. Similar proto-Babies designs were used in a line of Muppet Babies pajamas made by Lullaby Land.
Muppets[]
The Muppets activewear featured illustrations of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. The Kermit hang tag was an illustration by Daryl Cagle.
Muppet Babies[]
The Muppet Babies line was released in 1983, and featured early versions of Baby Kermit and Baby Piggy before their designs were finalized. On these items, Baby Kermit is a tadpole, Baby Piggy is called "Baby Miss Piggy", and her Kermit doll appears to be a windup toy. Similar designs were used on a set of Muppet Babies pajamas by Lullaby Land.
