Australian McDonald's released a set of four Muppet Treasure Island Happy Meal toys to coincide with the release of the film there in 1996.
This set differs from the American premiums, as each week a child could collect an iron-on transfer which could be colored with the crayons included.
The four sets were:
- Kermit the Frog at the helm, with a yellow crayon box
- Kermit and Miss Piggy, with a red crayon box
- In the crow's nest, with a blue crayon box
- Gonzo tied to a mast, with a pink crayon box
Each box of crayons came decorated with the Muppet characters featured on that week's transfer.
