A style guide for Muppet Treasure Island was made available to licensors in 1996 as reference for visual consistency in products for the film. The folder features character bios, logos, color guides, and patterns for apparel.
The Muppet Treasure Island Merchandising Guide Book[]
An earlier style guide was made prior to the filming of the movie for early promotional purposes. This guide instead calls the movie "The Muppet Treasure Island" and refers to Gonzo and Rizzo as "Jim and Hawkins," an idea abandoned when production began.
Photo reference book[]
A binder containing over 200 photos from the film was also compiled for artists to use.
